In 1957, A CEO asked his peers for help...

"I don't have enough time," is what every leader says, and every leader solves  this problem when they get into Vistage.

Most leaders believe  they are over committed, then they realized they are committed to the wrong things. 

Leaders needed to quickly enhance their knowledge and expertise on topics from finance, sales, marketing, culture, hiring, investing and they wanted to learn from credible sources. And they wanted to be able to build relationships with experts and thought leaders they could trust and know they were vetted.  

As the leaders enhanced their knowledge they began to work on their effectiveness. This meant they needed someone to hold them accountable, call B.S. when necessary and challenge their thinking.

Relentlessly. 

It wasn't enough for just the CEO to gain the fresh perspectives, unbiased ideas, creative thinking and the amazing resources. D.A.V.  was born when the leaders said they had incredible insights they day of their meeting and the day after.  It pushed us to share ideas on how to organize  those ideas, tools, resources for quick and easy reference. 

The leaders are all vetted so there is a high- level of trust and respect. Lifetime friendships are born.

And, every now and then they like to have fun, get silly, chill out, goof off and just shake off the stress of leading.
